THE committee organising the Carmarthen Mayor's Race has selected its catalog printing causes for this year's event which takes place on Monday, April 5. The Carmarthen Bi-Polar Self-Help Group, Carmarthen Awaydays, the town's women's refuge and the Towy Salmons swimming club will all be given Pounds 500 from this year's race Other local groups may also benefit from money raised and this will be discussed at the next meeting of the committee.
