An employee at a Jefferson strip club is facing criminal charges for allegedly throwing a beer bottle and a high-heeled shoe at a woman's pickup truck.

Authorities issued an arrest warrant Thursday for Marion E. Skeens, 25, of Whispering Way, citing the woman's failure to pay for vehicle repairs stemming from the June incident.

Deputies A.R. Crawford and J.S. Shackelford had been dispatched June 18 to Sheer Fantasy exotic showbar to investigate a disturbance.

A woman there, identified as Erin Williams, told deputies that Skeens, an employee of the club, had thrown the shoe and beer bottle at her as she and her friends were leaving a birthday celebration at the bar, according to a complaint filed in Kanawha Magistrate Court.

Williams told deputies that while she was inside the bar an unidentified man sitting next to her had started cursing and calling the female employees names, according to the complaint.

Deputies said Williams told them she thought the employees suspected that she was with the man because they then started cursing at her, the complaint said.

Williams walked toward the bar's exit and as she was leaving saw a high-heeled shoe followed by a beer bottle "fly over her shoulder," according to the complaint said.

The beer bottle struck the front windshield of Williams' Chevrolet Silverado pickup and caused a large crack, deputies said.

Skeens told deputies that she got angry because the man, whom she thought was Williams' boyfriend, called her a derogatory name, the complaint said. She acknowledged throwing a shoe and said she was responsible for the damage to Williams' truck, but she did not admit to throwing the beer bottle, the complaint said.

Williams told Skeens she was not at the bar with the man, and Skeens told her she would pay for the damages to the truck in cash, deputies said. Williams told deputies at the time that she did not want to press charges.

Deputies said Williams notified them Wednesday that Skeens told her last week she was not going to take responsibility for
embroidered patches the cracked windshield and that she refused to pay to repair the damage.

Skeens now faces charges of assault and destruction of property.
